Moonrun — Privacy Policy
Moonrun is a self-custodial app for trading tokens on Solana and other public blockchains, made by Cadence. We built it to collect as little about you as possible. This page says exactly what we collect, why, and who touches it.
What we collect
- Email address — used to sign you in and secure your embedded wallet. Login and wallet security are handled by Privy; we don't run passwords and we don't send marketing email.
- Wallet address and username — stored in our database so your @name and ladder position can appear in the app (for example on the leaderboard).
- Trade log — when you trade, we store the wallet address, token, amount, USD value and transaction signature. All of this is already public on the blockchain; we keep a copy to show your own history and stats.
- Portfolio history — sampled totals of your own wallet, stored on your device only.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no tracking SDKs, no analytics profiles, no fingerprinting.
- We never sell or share your data for marketing.
- We never access your contacts, photos, or location.
- We never hold your money or your private key. Keys are generated and sharded across secure hardware by Privy; Moonrun cannot move your funds.
Services we rely on
Like any internet app, requests to these services carry basic technical data such as your IP address:
- Privy — sign-in and embedded wallet security.
- Helius — Solana RPC (reading balances, sending your signed transactions).
- Jupiter — quotes and swap routing on Solana.
- Relay — cross-chain swap execution.
- DexScreener & GeckoTerminal — prices, charts and token info.
- Public RPC endpoints and block explorers — reading balances on EVM chains.
- Stripe / MoonPay — card purchases of crypto, opened in a Privy-hosted page. They process your payment and identity checks under their own privacy policies; Moonrun never sees your card number or identity documents.
- Supabase — our database for usernames and trade history.
- Vercel — hosts this page, the landing site, and the secure key-export and funding pages.
The blockchain is public
Blockchain transactions are public and permanent. Anything you do on-chain (trades, transfers) is visible to anyone and cannot be deleted by us or by you.
Deleting your data
Email us and we'll delete your username and trade history rows from our database. Deleting the app removes all local data. Signing out disconnects the wallet from the device; your wallet itself stays recoverable through Privy with your email.
Age
Moonrun is for adults. You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to use it.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update this page and the date at the top.
